Hey friendz,
So its been awhile, but her we are yet again with another entry into the long-running Faded Within blog. And
I have to let ya know whats been going with us, not only as a band, but also for me personally. After a huge start blowing
up with the new single "Angels," and some stellar shows at Dirty Jacks and our "homecoming" show at Mad Hatter,and our
half hour promotion and airplay of "Stand Tall" on WEBN in Cincinnati, I had to take some time off to handle some
personal business that I am very proud of. On August 8th, 2009, yours truly was taken off the market permanently when I married
the love of my life, The new Mrs. Rose, Mika Marie Michelle Rose. I am so excited for my newfound life, and love every minute
of being a very happily married man.
With the wedding
behind us, the time came for all of us to get going again. With some pretty big announcements. Almost a good news-bad news
kind of situation. First the bad: We have decided to postpone any live shows at least until early 2010. Probably into early
spring 2010. I know that this might come as a shock to some of you, looking to get your Faded Within live fix. But dont head
up to your roof just yet, because Im telling you its or a good reason. And with that I bring you the good news: We are FINALLY
in the writing process of our second album. This announcement is kind of late, but "Angels" is the first single from
the album, a sweet taste of honey to keep ya held over as more is written. The running title is "The Way You Made Me",
And so far we have seven songs started, some of them completely written. We will be adding alot of updates on the album, and
for some of you old- school Faded Within fans, we actually ARE smart enough to do video now, so be prepared for some videos.
Videos of rehearsals, the writing process, in-the-studio, hell maybe even just some personal messages from the boys ourselves.
As you can see from the main page, we have unleashed our Press kits all over the country, sending it to radio stations in
all 50 states. And we have found out that it was DEFINITELY not without some major results. These are still very important,
so if your in or around any of the areas of the radio stations on the main page, please call in and request us. "Stand Tall",and
"Angels" are the ones we have been hearing about most, so focus on one of those.Dont think that these calls wont matter, because
every call counts. On top of the massive half-hour promotion WEBN (cincinnati) did for us, An e-mail sent to the band revealed
that we have a small fan club in San Diego, California, who found out about us because one of the radio stations we deliered
to, has been playing "Stand Tall" on regular rotation during the week. This is amazing news, and we want to thank Mr. Kenny
Jackson for letting us know about the situation all the way across the country.
We are officially building a facebook page, jumping on yet another popularity train that will no doubt benefit us, even in
a small way. So be looking for that soon. When it is completely done we will be very quick to tell you bout it.
As of right now, thats all I can think of. I know that there was alot of things to tell you about, but it will only keep getting
better and better.
